E.T. The Extra Terrestrial Remake

Disclaimer: I'm not the game company Namco/Bandai Namco, I just happen to use that handle for my web presence.

This is a remake of the original Atari 2600 game and was released in 2016 on my own website. ET was remade because of a competition on the Retro Remakes website many years ago, Although I didn't finish it for the competition I did get it to a releasable state. There's still some things to iron out but after having this project ongoing for a long time, I wanted to move on to other things before coming back to finish this off.

Windows 10 may have a little issue with it but it should work. If not then I'll see if I can recompile it - let me know in the comments.

Controls:
Arrow keys -> Movement
z key -> Activate power zone and bring flower to life when in hole
x key -> Drop down hole and press once when in hole to get out (then press up)
s key -> To start the game
Esc key -> Quits the game

Known bugs:
- Reese's pieces shown over ET
- In some area holes, phone piece one will still show after you've picked it up
- When candy is eaten on the relevant power zone the energy shoots down then returns to the added amount
- One of the Instructions pages doesn't display properly

To Do:
- add more sfx
- add Elliott function (when Elliott is given 9 Reese's pieces he will find a phone piece and chase away the enemy)
- add the spaceship taking E.T. away when the round has been won
